With the current concerns regarding “social distancing” we have seen a number of end customers refusing to sign paperwork. In order to protect UCH Logistics drivers and customers alike from the risk of corona virus infection whilst effecting deliveries we will be making a temporary change to the POD signature requirements. We will not be asking the consignee to touch/sign a mobile device to confirm delivery but will do so on their behalf. This means that, whilst the driver will obtain and enter the name of the person accepting the delivery, there will be no signature from the consignee on the electronic POD.

Please note this change will come into effect Wednesday 18th March 2020 until further notice.
